Our School Day
The school gates are open at 8.35am and classsroom doors are open from 8.40am. The school gates and class doors close at 8.45am. School officially starts at 8.50am with Registration. The length of the school week is 31 hours, 40 minutes.
Getting to School
To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option! There are many benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations. If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely.
Morning Playtimes
Playtime for year 1 to 3 is at 10.15 to 10.30am. Playtime is when children can have their fruit and milk. Children in years 3 to 6 have to bring in their own fruit.
Reception do not have a formalised playtime however through continuous provision they have access to the outdoors area during the day.

Year 4 - 6 playtime is 10.30am to 10.45am

School finishes at 3.10pm.
At the end of the school day parents collect their children from the appropriate exits. As children get older, it would be expected that they would become more independent with this
