Deputy Headteacher - Mr Porter

 

I graduated from The University of Salford in 2010 with a degree in Journalism & Broadcasting before later completing a primary teaching degree at The University of Chester, specialising in physical education.   I have previously worked with young offenders across the Greater Manchester region and have taught right across key stage two.

I have some experience of teaching in Manchester but have spent a large part of my career to date, in Tameside.  I currently live in Stockport, and have a good knowledge of Levenshulme and the surrounding areas.

In terms of my hobbies and interests, I am a keen cricketer and an avid football fan.  (I’m neither red or blue however, Stockport are my team!)  I enjoy reading and spending time with my son who shares his dad’s passion for sport.  Asian food is my guilty pleasure – I cannot get enough of it! I feel privileged to have the opportunity to work at a primary school which is so highly regarded in Cringle Brook, and I am fully committed to helping pupils fulfil their potential.
